Kristen Collins, CMP

Kristen began her event management career working on gala fund-raisers and movie premieres for Diana Beattie Events in New York City. The position led to an Events Manager position in the newly formed meetings and events department at Pfizer Inc where she managed sales meetings, advisory panels, incentive trips and convention-related special events.

While working as a trip director for French pharmaceutical company, Sanofi, Kristen was invited to join their team as an Events Manager. As such, she primarily managed product launches, sales meetings and incentive trips. Her work producing the launch for the Company’s Oncology franchise led to earning the prestigious President’s Circle Award, the Company’s highest honor.

Kristen moved to New England to further pursue corporate events. Her experience brought her to Fidelity Investments as a Senior Events Manager where she managed high-profile meetings for associates and clients, incentive trips, executive and sales meetings.

Since branching out on her own, she has worked with TIAA helping them to redesign their event marketing materials and created and launched a self-serve platform with tools, resources, tutorials and customizable invitations to help regional teams run their own local events. She also partners with the Massachusetts Library Association to plan and execute their annual conference.

She is a former Board Member of MPI New England, served on the NEMICE planning committee and as a panelist at an MPI New England educational program about contract negotiation. She was also nominated for Meeting Professional of the Year.

Kristen is active in organizations in the communities in which she has lived, where she managed the Garden Tour, volunteered at the Boston Marathon and co-directed a 10K Road Race. In addition, she has served in a variety of leadership roles with the New York Junior League.

Kristen earned her B.A. in Telecommunications from Indiana University, Bloomington. She has also worked as a casting associate, production associate, script supervisor, and second assistant director on several independent films and theatrical productions.
